How to make a DTF gang sheet in six steps

DTF for fabric, or UV DTF for cups, tumblers and hard surfaces.
2. Choose the width
Match your printer or your print shop: 11.7″, 13″, 22″, 23.5″ or anything in between.

What is a DTF gang sheet?
A DTF gang sheet is one file, usually 22 inches wide, that packs many designs — or many copies of one design — onto a single piece of direct-to-film transfer film. The printer runs one sheet instead of dozens of separate transfers, so the cost per design drops sharply. Print shops sell gang sheets by size (22 × 24, 22 × 36, 22 × 48 and up) and expect you to bring a print-ready file.
Making that file by hand means a design app, a canvas set to the film width, and a lot of dragging to fit everything without waste. A gang sheet builder does the layout for you: you give it the art, the sizes and the quantities, and it packs the sheet.
DTF vs UV DTF
DTF transfers are heat-pressed onto fabric: shirts, hoodies, hats, bags. UV DTF transfers are peel-and-stick decals for hard surfaces: cups, tumblers, glass, phone cases and signs. Both are ordered as gang sheets, and the app builds either one — just pick the film in step 1.
Gang sheet sizes and film widths
Most print shops use 22-inch or 24-inch film; desktop DTF printers use 11.7-inch (A3) or 13-inch (A3+) film. The app takes any width from 4″ to 23.5″ and any length. Because you pay by the square inch, a sheet is exactly as long as your packed artwork needs — there is no rounding up to the next “size”.
Resolution: 300 DPI at print size
DTF prints look best from images that are 300 DPI at the size they will be printed. A 3,000-pixel-wide image is sharp at 10 inches and soft at 20. The app measures every image at the size you chose and flags it before you print; an upscale tool is one tap away for images that need help.

Sheets are $0.00105 per square inch. A 22 × 24 inch gang sheet is about 55¢ and a 22 × 36 inch sheet about 83¢, plus one processing fee per checkout (49¢ + 3.49%) that is shown before you pay. No subscriptions, minimums or size rounding.
On Mac, Windows and Android the checkout runs inside the app. After PayPal, Download buttons appear in the app and the links are emailed to you. The Mac App Store version opens the checkout in your browser instead.
